On October 9th, 2012, Jishin was invited to perform at Chaminade Middle School. We had a wonderful time being able to play for everyone there. Thank you very much for having us!

On Sunday, September 7th, 2012, Jishin was invited to perform at Gedatsu Church's Autumn Moon Festival, and it was certainly a fun and eventful day. Thank you everyone for all of the cheering, and even playing along with us afterwards! Most of all, thank you for having us!

Jishin Taiko's New Member Orientation will be coming up soon on September 11th and September 14th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm! Come out and enjoy a fun evening meeting the group and getting a chance to play the drums in a taiko workshop!

Over the summer, we will be holding practices every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday night from 7 PM to 10 PM in Cypress Hall room 145. If you are interested in joining Jishin Taiko or just want to see what we do, feel free to drop in.

Jishin Taiko has come home to Northridge from Stanford after a fun, exciting weekend at ITC! We were able to bring back new techniques, ideas, and inspiration from the classes, build and strengthen our connections with others in the taiko community, and have a great time watching and performing taiko. Thank you, Stanford Taiko, for having us, and to everyone who attended, we hope to see you again next year!

The NSoLS of CSUN invited us to perform at their induction ceremony on April 29th, 2012. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to perform at this momentous occasion!

We are honored to have been able to perform for the Jumpstart for a Day event in Sun Valley on April 28th! Thanks for having us! Thanks for kiaing and drumming with us in the heat! We had a lot of fun, and we hope you all did, too!

Jishin performed at CSUN's 15th annual Carnaval on April 12th! It was early in the morning, but thanks to the audience, the performance was a blast! We also had a short story presentation and held a small workshop. Thanks for the kiai! EY-YA-SA!
